Pastor Dan De Graff
I’ve been a few places…The first 14 years of my life were spent in South Holland, IL, before moving to the town of Lowell, IN and attending high school and church in DeMotte, IN. From there I headed to Dordt University in Sioux Center, IA, where I teetered between pursuing ministry or criminal justice. God’s call for me to go into ministry was helped by 3 summers with AdventureServe Ministries in Kentucky and Tennessee, and I headed to Western Theological Seminary in Holland, MI after graduation. I met my wife, Christie, while interning at her church in Holland. She joined me on this journey for summer assignments in Dundas, ON and Pella, IA, and as pastor of Corsica CRC and Grace Reformed Church (RCA) in Corsica, SD. Along the way, we’ve had our two children.
We took the call to come to Baldwin CRC in May 2019 and are blessed to be part of the family and community here. We’re both hoping this might be a place for our family to put down roots for a bit longer! Christie is a teacher at Baldwin Christian School. I enjoy fishing and being outdoors as well as cheering for the Chicago Blackhawks, Chicago White Sox, and Green Bay Packers. Other than the Bible, I enjoy reading and talking about ministry, Reformed doctrine, and discipleship.
